Hi guys,
Another youtube #shorts - here's pretty much the fastest yummy #chocolate #marshmallow #cake you can make - and as always, it's super easy!
And the secret cat already out of the bag: MARSHMALLOWS!!! and more MARSHMALLOWS!!!
Let's get to it!
Recipe:
First mix dry ingredients together:
300ml flour (1.25 cups)
250ml sugar (1 cup)
2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
Then mix together wet ingredients:
2 eggs
75ml milk (1/3 cup)
1 tbps vanilla extract or paste
150 melted butter (melt in microwave) (3/4 cup or 1.3 sticks of butter)
75ml boiled water (1/3 cup) with 2 tbsp of cocoa powder mixed in
Combine wet and dry ingredients.
Mix in some chocolate chips if you like
Pour the cake batter into two lined cake tins
Bake for 20-35 min in 175C / 350F until done
Chocolate ganache:
Melt 200g chocolate with 50ml butter and 50ml milk or cream (I melted in microwave) (You can experiment with the amounts to get the softness you like)
Add some marshmallows to the ganache - if you add when it's still hot they'll partly melt.
Pour some ganache on top of the first cooled layer of cake,
add all the marshmallows from the ganache
Place the second layer on top, pour rest of the choclate ganache on the cake and top with more marshmallows.
