Are you going away soon and don't know how to deal with the stray cats you've been feeding? This lady had the same problem so she created an ingenious device to help ensure her cats are well fed while she's gone.

This is a serious cat lover, animal lover. She has rescued many stray cats over the years. The cats all love her and are affectionate towards her. However, she needed to make a trip at the last moment and couldn't find a pet sitter to help take care of her cats.

Her cats are outdoor cats who live outside. So they are allowed to roam around whenever they choose. They could hunt rodents on their own as well but most of them still relies on the lady for cat food.

The lady thought about leaving the dry cat food in the bowls and putting in extra amounts but worry that bugs would get to it and that it would go bad before the cats could eat it all. So she took two water tanks and out out a rectangle in one. She cut the bottle in half and drilled several holes in it. Then, she put a wooden stick through the hole and connect it to other wooden pieces before tying it together with wires.

Being a considerate pet owner, she remembered to run sandpaper on the edges to make sure her cats won't hurt themselves trying to get to the food. She also added a launch pad and a rock to the other side. It's the same mechanism in seesaws.

When the cat step on the wooden planks the system would open and when they are done, it would close right away.

She also added security camera so she could monitor her cats remotely. Is she the best cat owner or what?
