When I was in school, I used to love going to my friends’ houses to play. One of the reasons was because we would have meals at their homes, usually cooked by their moms. If I were living in Indonesia now, I would happily cook for my kids’ friends when they come over to play. Unfortunately, here in the Netherlands, I can’t provide full meals for the kids after school because I’m afraid they might not eat the dinner their mom cooks at home if they’re already full. So, I give them light snacks to keep them going until dinner, as we only have one warm meal in the evening every day.

So, here are some snacks that I serve for them after school.
