A lady and her friend was driving on a highway when they noticed something furry by the side of the road. They stopped the car and walked over to find a small kitten all alone and scared.

They tried to pick up the cat but the cat was very afraid. The cat kept hissing and trying to scratch the humans helping him. The kitten started running away and the lady had to chase after him. Soon, however, the kitten gave up due to exhaustion. It's unknown how long the kitten was abandoned and how long the kitten hadn't eaten at that point.

They rushed the kitten to the vet. The kitten meowed very loudly in the car as if realizing that he's being kidnapped. But it was also a sign that the kitten was healthy enough. There was however substances around the kitten's eyes causing him to not see very well.

It was almost midnight but thankfully, the animal hospital was still open and the vet was still there. They rushed the kitten in and gave him some food. Thankfully, there wasn't any injuries to the kitten. They gave the kitten a quick wipe and the kitten was able to see clearly for the first time.

After eating, the kitten seemed to realize that he's safe and stopped struggling. He let the woman who helped him pet him without trying to scratch her. I'd say this is a successful animal rescue. They had to leave the kitten there over night but the kitten was safe to go home with them after a day.
